Minutes

SLC minutes 1.24.2013 Will is present, Luis is Present, Director is present. AAUP stuff. We will start fieldwork next week. Debates are on the wee of the 10th. Need to get room, need to find debaters. Formatting is as follows: opening 5 minutes, rebuttals 5 minutes, audience input 5 minutes, closing 5 minutes, q&a 20 minutes. Week of the 3rd will be prepping debaters, and during the first debate we will recruit new debaters. Will talked to some DJs for the PRez Meet and Greet. Still need to figure out room. See PSU dining catalog. See a decorator. We want alcohol. 1 or 2 bottle per person. Aaramark does this. Organizations are still being looked at. Elections are …going well. "Thanks ASPSU" campaign. Need someone to reach out to graphics design center. 11x17 posters full color, large lettering. Will is taking care of this. Will is also dubbed Ambassador for Greek Life.

Backwards plan discussed: Strike, reach out to student organizations, ASPSU debates addressed. Somebody is needed to reserve rooms for about 50 people in Smith. This person also needs to acquire cookies and coffee. Will’s taking the role! Senators are encouraged to participate. Luis must talk to PDT Alejandra about putting together a poster for all the debates and have them printed. Presidential meet and greet is in April. Lots of cool stuff!
